Employees are on edge about new managers, with more than a third citing stress about going to the office, a poll shows. Oji Life Labs and Harris Research surveyed more than 2,000 U.S. office-based workers last month who had fledgling managers. One in five said the stress was affecting their sleep and giving them doubts about their chosen careers. Meanwhile, 46% of women said they were anxious, compared to 29% of men. That gap, a management expert said, probably reflected situations in which leaders failed to recognize the different needs of different groups.
